1. Introduction

Welcome to Agora Bot! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Agora Discord bot and its associated features. Agora is designed to transform chaotic arguments into structured debates, offering tools to challenge users, engage in timed rounds, allow community voting, and track progress on an Elo-ranked leaderboard.

By inviting Agora to your Discord server, interacting with its commands, or utilizing any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use Agora.

2. Eligibility and Conduct

You must be at least 13 years old to use Discord and, by extension, Agora. By using Agora, you affirm that you meet Discord's age requirements.

  • Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
  • Use Agora only for its intended purpose: facilitating structured debates within Discord servers.
  • Refrain from using Agora to promote, engage in, or facilitate any illegal, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to Agora's services, servers, or data.
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Agora.

3. Bot Functionality

Agora provides features such as initiating and managing formal debates with timed rounds, collecting community votes to determine debate winners, and maintaining an Elo-ranked leaderboard.

While we strive for accuracy and reliability, Agora is provided "as is" and its availability or specific features may change without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the absence of errors.

4. Data and Privacy

To provide its services, Agora collects certain information such as Discord User IDs, Discord Server IDs, and limited message content for core bot functions. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for details.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to Agora Bot, including its code, design, features, and branding, remain the exclusive property of Krish Ganatra. Your use of Agora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the bot as intended within Discord.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Agora without prior notice for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use Agora ceases immediately.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Agora is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permissible by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Krish Ganatra or Agora Bot be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Agora.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified in advance where possible. Continued use of Agora after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
